Applying for Medicine or Veterinary Medicine: a Higher Education information event, 6.00 – 8.40pm, Friday 28 February 2020, St Helen and St Katharine, Abingdon

Year 12 students and parents are invited to the St Helen and St Katharine sixth ‘Applying for Medicine or Veterinary Medicine’ event which will be held at St Helen’s (Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 1BE) on Friday 28 February from 6.00 – 8.40pm.

From 6.00pm, university representatives will be available to talk to students and parents from a range of universities offering medicine and veterinary science. The following universities have already confirmed their attendance: Edinburgh University, Nottingham University, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, Kent and Medway Medical School, the Royal Veterinary College, Keele University and St Andrew’s University.

At 7pm, there will be a key note speech followed by a lecturer from Birmingham University and Oxford University medical schools, followed by separate talks from representatives of universities offering degrees in medicine and veterinary medicine. They will talk about the specifics of applying for the course. This will be followed by a question and answer session.
