Please collect a form at break and note that no transfers can be made without the completion of this form. Please note too that some subject changes may not be possible because of class size/timetable – check the back of the form for the subject combinations. Do not stop attending any lessons until this is confirmed. NO DROPPING until week 5 and only then when signed off by your teachers.

Mindset
After first Mindset session last week please continue to reflect on and apply in the fortnight between sessions.

Messages for all Students

Biometric sign in
All students MUST sign in and out EVERY time they enter or leave the building. This is a health and safety requirement – if there is a fire, this is the list we will use. Registering with your tutor is not a substitute.

Space for working and at breaks
If the common room and balcony are too busy, please remember you can use the Robinson Rooms (off reception) for working and the foyer (at the back of the hall). Please keep these spaces tidy. We are working on making the foyer more welcoming as a space – this will take place over the next couple of weeks.

Societies’ Fair
This will take place after assembly this Wednesday – please come to the Patterson break out space to learn about lunchtime and other clubs. If you would like to run a stall for a new club, please contact Mrs Lane.

Expectations
Students need to be aware that with all staff are being encouraged to make sure that Sixth Form students are meeting our expectations in terms of:
a. use of mobile phones. These can be used in the Common Room, Robinson Rooms and Foyer. They cannot be used in corridors, the Hub or in the Library. Neither can students have them out in lessons without the express permission of teachers.
b. punctuality – students should arrive punctually for all lessons and should leave the Common Room in time to arrive promptly.
c. all aspects of the dress code including the ban on facial piercings. If students need reminding, this can be found at: https://www.stbarts.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Sixth-Form-Dress-Code.pdf
Tutors will give students one day to address any issues and remove piercings. If students don’t respond, their names will be passed to the Sixth Form team and, where necessary, students will be sent home to put things right etc.

All bags/PE equipment should be taken home before the Open Evening. Anything left in the Hub after 2.20pm on Tuesday will be removed.

For those that take the Mortons coach home – this will run at 2.20pm on Tuesday.

All Instrumentalists: ORCHESTRA FOR OPEN EVENING
You are invited to collect a letter from the Music Office (P130) with details of the performance(s) on Open Evening TOMORROW. Students taking part in this summer’s music tour to Austria should make this a priority, but all instrumentalists are very welcome, including any new joiners in Yr7 or the 6th form. We normally put on a good show for visitors, with about 100 musicians in the Hub, so come and be part of it!
