Important instructions for all students with lessons in Patterson Block
During the exam period no students should enter Patterson Block for lessons until they have been instructed to by a teacher.
• All students using the changing rooms for PE or Dance lessons must enter the changing rooms from the outside, not through the block – please remember also to use the Hub doors between Curnock and Evers and to walk around the back of Curnock block.
• All students with lessons on the ground floor in the Drama studios or P014 (PE classroom) must line up in the Hub and wait for their teacher to collect them.
• All students with lessons on the first floor in Music must also line up on the first floor of the Hub and wait for their teacher to collect them.
• On a number of occasions (these are marked on the school calendar) there will be room changes affecting Patterson block lessons and these will be posted outside the block. Please make sure that you go straight to the new room and don’t just gather outside the block.
St Bart’s Community Awards
We are looking for nominations for our new St Bart’s Community Awards to recognise students, staff and parents/carers who do good work in the community. Amongst other things, this could include:
• Regularly helping others in need
• Regularly visiting an elderly neighbour
• Being a Young Carer by helping a family member with additional needs
• Organising an event to raise money for a charity
• Volunteering to work in a charitable organisation
• Raising awareness of an important cause
• Making significant contributions to St Bart’s through volunteer work
If you know of a St Bart’s student, member of staff or parent/carer who deserves recognition then please speak with your tutor about nominating them.
