Higher Education trip – Thursday 14th March
RETURN FORMS BY THIS THURSDAY 14/2/19 so that we can book transport. All Y12 are to attend. Please either get your parents to complete on ParentPay or to sign and return the permission slip to Mrs Garrety in the Sixth Form Office (W132) by Thursday 14th February.

Oxbridge Conference – Epsom Racecourse Wednesday 27th March
This trip is now full. You should have received confirmation of your place by email. Please come and see Mrs Lane if you have any questions.

PATHWAY – EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS DAY – Feb 19th 2019
You have all signed up to Pathway and they are offering an Employability Day on February 19th.

You will get to work in small groups and take part in 4 short workshops. The workshops are designed to improve different aspects of employability and confidence. Students will work on CV’s, strength identification, first impressions and interview techniques. The day is hosted by Pathway employability experts and supported by volunteers from our corporate partners. You will get the opportunity to meet employees from a range of businesses, learn more about yourself and gain experience in starting your career. During our interactive employee Q&A, you will also be able to ask questions anonymously and take part in live polls!

European Youth Parliament: For all Year 12 students interested in finding out more about this debating competition, please attend a meeting in W110 at 12.45pm on Tuesday activity time.

All teams to be in the foyer as soon after 12.10 as possible please. Spectators welcome.

Reminder: The 6th Form area is to be used during lesson time for study only. Please expect to be asked to leave the area during lesson time if you are not studying.

The canteen side of the Sixth Form area will be closed to students after school on Tues and Thurs this week. We will be moving students on towards the end of p5 and would encourage you to use the library on these days. Please make sure the area is as tidy as possible as you leave.

Helping with Y11/ Sixth Form Interviews – Thanks to those who helped with the Sixth Form Interviews for Y11 last week. We will need help with interviews after school this Tuesday (internal) and Thursday (external)

Orchestra will be rehearsing after school tomorrow from 3.20 to 4.15pm. Refreshments will be provided and it would be lovely to see as many of you there as possible, particularly as this is our last rehearsal before the half term break.
