A presumption is something that is accepted as true but is not certain to be true.

…the presumption that a defendant is innocent until proved guilty.

I’m having to make a lot f presumptions since I don’t really know anything about the case.

Monday

GCSE PE club – 12.40. Year 10 in the Sports Hall and Year 11 in the PE classroom.

Tuesday:

Years 10 and 11 League Netball V Theale Green at Theale Green – leave at 3.20. Change at activity time.

Wednesday:

Years 7, 8 and 9 Berkshire Lacrosse tournament at Queen Anne’s – leave at 11am – Come into school in your Lacrosse kit. Meet in the Gym at 11am. You must go and see your teachers to collect the work that you are missing.

1sts and 2nds Lacrosse v Rencomb away – leave at 12.30. 2pm start. You are playing on grass. You must go and see your teachers to collect the work that you are missing.

Thursday:

Years 7,8,9, 10 and Seniors Lacrosse v St Georges Harpenden. Leave at 12.10. Meet in the Gym at 12.10. Change at Break time. You must go and see your teachers to collect the work that you are missing.

Back by 5.30pm

Saturday:

Lacrosse v Godolphin – Home

1sts, Year 10 and Year 9 in at 9am to play at 10am

2nds, Year 8 and Year 12 in at 10am to play at 11am

All games at Browns Meadow

Mobile Phones

Further to Mrs Mortimore’s message in whole school assembly this week, mobile phones should be kept switched off and put away during the school day. They should only be used if you are instructed to do so by your teacher. During lessons, mobile phones should be in your bag. Around the school site you should not use your mobile phone. If it is an emergency and you need to make a call, then you should to go to your House Office. A further reminder that you should be polite and follow the instructions of staff at all times. Failure to do this will lead to a sanction. Thank you.

FIVES COACHING with TOP QUALITY coaches for COMPLETE BEGINNERS or ESTABLISHED players will be at St Bart’s on Saturday from 1.30-3.30pm. This would be a fun session and is here for this one session only. For more information see Mr Turner in E017 on FRIDAY at 12.30pm

Yr11 Mindfulness Group, with Davina from T2T, is in the Foyer today at 11:45 am.

Sixth Form – any student interested in participating in filming a commemorative event for D-Day (22nd June), please see Mr Evans in Media Office during this morning, or contact by email. Possibility of access to military establishment / flight with parachutists!

Years 7 and 8: KS3 Science Club – this Friday – Fruit Batteries

Year 10 ski trip: if you have hired clothing, this has arrived! Please come to Expressive Arts office to collect. Ski trip hoodies have arrived! Please come to the expressive arts office to collect

Y7 Boys House Hockey – reminder that your tournament will take place on Monday P1 – if you are in a house team for this you MUST be wearing shin pads and a gumshield – students in Evers and Patterson on lesson P1 who are not involved in house sport will still be playing hockey and need the same hockey equipment and trainers.
